A Bit About Me
NL Cosby is a writer, a woman of faith, and a living testament to resilience. In 2024, her life was forever changed by a devastating accident that nearly took her life. She sustained multiple severe injuries including two broken hips, two broken femurs, and a broken wrist. In addition to all of this she endured numerous surgeries followed by almost two years recovery is a wheelchair. In a single moment, her independence, routine, and sense of identity were stripped away, leaving her to face the most profound question of all: Who am I when everything I relied on is gone?

This question became the foundation of her debut memoir and devotional, Worthy Still: A Journey of Healing, Faith, and Recovery. Written during one of the most vulnerable seasons of her life, the book chronicles not only physical healing, but the emotional and spiritual rebuilding that followed. Through honest reflection, prayer, and unwavering faith, she discovered that being worthy is not tied to productivity, strength, or circumstance but intrinsic, God-given, and unshakable.

Today NL Cosby is walking again and still healing, still growing, and still believing. She writes to encourage others who feel broken, unseen, or uncertain about their future and her message is simple yet powerful: even when life changes everything, you are WORTHY STILL. Through her words, she invites readers to find hope in hardship, faith in the waiting, and strength in knowing they are not alone.

I am still on my healing journey, and today I am able to walk without a cane or walker. I have returned to work, even though some days are still difficult and walking can bring pain. I thank God for how far He has brought me and trust that He is not finished yet, this is only the beginning. Through every step of this journey, I hold onto the truth that I am WORTHY STILL.
During my recovery, I was scheduled for another arthroscopic knee surgery to replace the rod in my left femur after it was not healing as we had hoped. Even in this setback, my faith remains strong. God has already brought me too far to leave me now, and I continue to stay hopeful and confident that he will carry me through what lies ahead.
Through God's grace and unwavering support of those around me, I was finally able to stand using a walker. Before that moment, standing felt almost impossible as I looked at my immobile legs and wondered if they would ever move again. Still, I held tightly to my faith, believing that God had already set my path and would carry me through this season of recovery. I reminded myself daily of His promise: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
I was involved in a life-threatening accident wile driving home from work when my vehicle was struck head-on. The impact left me with two broken hips, two broken femurs, and a fractured left wrist. I spent several weeks in the hospital undergoing multiple surgeries, followed by an extended period of recovery.

When I was finally discharged, I was unable to bear weight weight on my legs and relied on a wheelchair to move through daily life. In an instant, my independence was taken away, and I began a long and uncertain journey of healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
"Still Becoming."
